I have always been passionate about material innovation in sportswear, a focus I explored through engineered knit technologies while studying Fashion Textiles Knit at the London College of Fashion, graduating in 2019. Alongside my studies, I worked at Third Space London, where my interest in fitness deepened, leading me to complete a Personal Training qualification. This dual passion for design and human performance shaped my career ambition: to create high-performance, aesthetically driven apparel for active consumers.
After graduating, I began my career at WGSN as a freelance trend forecaster, working on client-specific briefs for brands such as Puma. This role honed my trend research and forecasting skills, which continue to inform my design process. I then joined Prism London, a boutique brand specialising in sustainable, circular-knitted garments across sportswear, swimwear, and underwear. Here, I gained hands-on experience in seamless garment design and sustainable production.
At FILA, I worked as a Junior Sportswear Designer across menswear, womenswear, and childrenswear. I gained insight into the European sportswear market and developed skills in activewear and jersey design. Collaborating closely with production teams, I built a strong understanding of the critical path, supplier communication, and end-to-end product development.
Joining the innovation hub at Frasers Group, I designed activewear, jersey, and outerwear for Sports Direct brands. This role sharpened my ability to deliver trend-led, high-volume, cost-effective products. I developed skills in fabric sourcing, garment fitting, and managing production within strict budget constraints.
At WIT Fitness, I led the design and development of technical CrossFit activewear and lifestyle collections. Overseeing multiple product lines, I managed critical paths aligned with the sporting calendar and collaborated with new suppliers to deliver both event-driven and performance apparel, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Most recently at TALA, I was responsible for designing and developing the Sculpt Seamless, Skinluxe, Jersey, and Accessories ranges from concept to launch. I conducted market research and trend analysis to drive innovation and commercial success, contributing to several best-selling and viral products. I also led fabric development, expanded product categories, and maintained strong end-to-end supplier relationships.
